They do check to make sure donors are legitimate, as to not leave the organizer responsible for fraudulent donations but the process is not tedious and intrusive, like I have experienced with other platforms. I appreciate that myself and the people I fundraise for are treated as humans. A simple ask that doesn't happen everywhere. I highly recommend Spot.fund to anyone needing a campaign platform. Features and customer service are TOP NOTCH!
